My musical background isn’t primarily as a pianist. I got my start as a choral singer and musical theater actor. I originally began studying piano work as an apprenticeship with a technician in Morristown, New Jersey in 2016. There I worked with the Sing For Hope foundation helping to manage care for their public pianos project on the streets of New York City.
I then attended the North Bennet Street School Basic Piano Technology Program graduating in 2019. In the fall of 2020, I was hired on part time as the program’s Teaching Assistant for three years before joining the school’s faculty in 2023. There, I teach in-home service to the next generations of piano technicians and tuners. I’ve been building a business of private clients since returning to Boston in 2020.
During my time in school, I joined the Piano Technicians Guild and took the examinations to become a Registered Piano Technician, or RPT for short. This process includes a written, technical, and aural tuning exam. In the years since I have also completed extra training to be certified to administer those exams to any member looking to reclassify.

Sunflower or “Sunny” is our cat we’ve had since March of 2023. She has yet to provide any support with servicing pianos.
